四川省成都市人,1934年5月生,中国科学院大连化学物理研究所研究员。1997年当选为中国科学院院士。    从事科学研究四十年,在固体燃料,化学激光器研究,特别是激光化学基础研究上,做出了系统的,创造性的成就和贡献。六十年代开展了气体爆轰波脉动的研究,首次确定了点火延迟和爆轰波脉动结构的关系,并自行设计和安装了我国第一台化学激波管,研制出了性能优良的微波吸收材料。七十年代先后做出了我国第一台化学激光器--光引发氯化氢脉冲化学激光器和达到万瓦级功率并实现了室外打靶试验的燃烧驱动连续波HF(DF)强化学激光器;接着开展了电子束引发脉冲HF激光器的研究,产生的激光其化学效率和电效率都达到了国际先进水平,在此激光器上进行了国际上尚属首次的激光支持爆震波等离子体的屏蔽效应的研究。八十年代协助张存浩院士开展了激光光学双共振多光子电离研究工作,达到国际领先水平,创造性地发明和发展了研究极短寿命态结构的离子凹陷光谱和以预解离态为中间共振态的双共振光谱,在激光态分子传能研究中首次实验证明了单一叁重态传能通道间存在量子干涉效应,首次定义并实验测出干涉角,发现了新的态-态传能速率的基本规则,传能的微观机理及选律等。共获国家和省部级成果奖6项,在国内外杂志上发表论文55篇。非常关心青年人才的培养,共培养硕、博士研究生14人,他们中的部分人都取得了非常显著的成绩。
