主要从事超分子多孔材料等方面的研究,包括动态共价凝胶、金属-有机凝胶、多孔功能材料与均相催化剂的负载等。迄今已在国际材料或化学学术期刊上发表SCI收录论文110多篇,包括Chem. Soc. Rev., Coord. Chem. Rev., Adv. Mater., Nature Commun., Chem. Sci., J. Mater. Chem. A, Chem. Mater., Small, Chem. Commun.等。撰写了凝胶化学专著《Gel Chemistry - Interactions, Structures and Properties》,2018年由Springer-Nature出版。相关应用成果以第一发明人授权发明专利3件。
